The Bothy bar and restaurant offers a traditional Scottish menu and a family friendly atmosphere. You can dine in their conservatory restaurant to enjoy great Scottish dishes like Cock-a-Leekie Soup and Venison. Also feel free to visit the bar where they have an extensive selection of malt whiskies on offer. The Bothy is located next to the swing bridge in the centre of Fort Augustus. Reservations are not taken so we would advise that if you want dinner to arrive by 7pm. In the summer there is lunchtime seating outdoors overlooking the picturesque canal locks.
